CONCLUSION:        You know we can't work our way to heaven.  We see from this message the scripture shows us what we are to do, and because we know what to do, God tells us How to do what is necessary to receive His gift of salvation.                    We need to know:

Romans 3:23            For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

You need to know the wages of sin is death

Romans 6:23            For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

You need to know that our Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8            But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

God demonstrated His love for us by hanging His Son on the tree.  Regardless, of how bad our sin is.

Christ our God doesn't want anyone in Hell.

Romans 10:13            For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

John 3:16                    Romans 10:9
