I. HIS ABUNDANT MERCY

All the evil in the world is because of man's sin. All good is from GOD's mercy.

Psalm 103:17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children’s children;

A. Begotten Us Again

This is a phrase that is unique to Christians.

1. By His Resurrection

His resurrection gives us a living hope of eternal life.

This hope deserves our thanks and rejoicing.

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

B. An Inheritance

Not by wages, not by purchase, but by re-birth into an estate.

Acts 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

Acts 26:18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

1. Incorruptible

Corruption is changing from better to worse, Heaven is without change, already, always has been perfect

2. Undefiled
Without sin, without misery, without pain, perfect with our Perfect Father and Son Jesus Christ

C. Kept By The Power

Preserved for salvation, we are guarded by GOD's power

1 Chronicles 29:12 Both riches and honour come of thee, and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all.

We maybe attacked, but not overcome

1. Through Faith

Faith is a sovereign preservative, no spoilage

Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;
a. Unto Salvation

Salvation is immortal life. I don't understand it all either.

1 Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

2 Corinthians 12:9-10 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ’s sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

When we pass over in death, our salvation will be revealed gloriously, when our souls are admitted into the presence of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Then we shall behold His beauty.

II. OUR TRIALS OF FAITH

Trials = Genuineness

James 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.

Be patient, don't pray for it, but wait on the LORD, in His time he will call us. Wait and build your faith and reward.

Numbers 14:24 But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and hath followed me fully, him will I bring into the land whereinto he went; and his seed shall possess it.

A. More Precious Than Gold

What earthly things we have will be nothing, compared to what we will have in heaven.

Job 23:10 But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

Luke 19:17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.

Exodus 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

B. Our Faith Might Be Found

Romans 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

Just be patient, and just hang in there, He is coming He said so.
1. Unto Praise

Hebrews 13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

We should constantly Praise His name.

Psalm 51:15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall show forth thy praise.

2. Unto Honour

Romans 2:10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:

3. Unto Glory

Psalm 22:23 Ye that fear the LORD, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel.

Romans 15:6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

C. At The Appearing Of Jesus Christ

Romans 2:7 To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

1. We have never seen

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

What we love, what we believe, and what we rejoice in.

a. You / We Love

John 14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

John 16:27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

b. You / We Believe

Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

We believers are not ashamed; go tell the Gospel to all

c. You / We Rejoice

Habakkuk 3:18 Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

1 Peter 4:12-13 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: 13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

When we see Christ, it is a thing that is un-imaginable in my mind. I have heard people say; when I see Jesus I am going to ask…. Well I think we will then know, and now who cares my Jesus is before me.

III. THE END OF YOUR / OUR FAITH

At Heavens gate we will lose our faith and have fulfilled our salvation and will have gained immortal life and will be living by sight.

A. The Salvation Of Your Soul

Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

John 14:2-3 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
